Property owners in the thousands have either been taken advantage of by a contractor or know someone who has.

The National Center for the Prevention of Home Improvement Fraud (NCPHIF) is a nonprofit organization created to wipe out contractor fraud. The goal is to arm homeowners with valuable information and assistance before they are taken advantage of by contractors and to be available if they need assistance during their home improvement or home repair project.
