We know that being victimized by a scam artist or unscrupulous contractor is painful emotionally and financially. At the National Center for the Prevention of Home Improvement Fraud (NCPHIF) we are working hard to try to prevent victimization from contractor fraud before it happens.
If you have already been victimized, we are so sorry. We know that the pain you’ve experienced can not be taken away. We do encourage you to file a complaint in an effort to report the contractor and help prevent others from being victimized too.
In our efforts to create a national database of fraudulent contractors and contractor fraud scams, we ask that you fill out our reporting form.
We also encourage you to contact the other reporting agencies listed on our After Your Project Page
